Authentic style
Made from eucalyptus, the Almeria garden table has an authentically seductive look. It blends elegantly on any terrace, bringing an undeniable natural touch. This rectangular table features a 60 cm butterfly extension allowing it to extend from 1.8 m to 2.4 m. Once extended, it can accommodate a parasol with a diameter of 50 mm or less in its centre. A base is essential to hold the parasol, as it cannot be placed on the table alone.
Guaranteed quality
The eucalyptus of the Almeria table is an exotic hardwood sourced from Uruguayan plantations. Durable, resistant and perfectly suited for outdoor use, this wood is also coated with a tinted oil that further protects it and gives it a shade close to raw eucalyptus. The Almeria garden table is therefore particularly robust.
Wood colour: Natural, oiled.
You will find in our shop several models of wooden garden furniture, for the smallest as well as the largest families. Additional chairs and armchairs are also available to increase the seating capacity of your set.
Care details
This garden table is coated with a colourless oil during manufacturing. Oil impregnation varies depending on the wood species. A small residue may remain: make sure to remove it with a cloth before first use. You do not need to apply oil to your new garden furniture; you can wait until the end of summer.
Eucalyptus is a living material. Its appearance changes over time and a few cracks may appear. This is normal and is precisely what gives hardwood its authentic charm so appreciated by many. Although robust and weather-resistant, eucalyptus requires a little maintenance to extend its lifespan.
On a daily basis, remove leaves, standing water and dust. Clean stains and food residues with soapy water and a sponge. If your table is very dirty, you can use a small stiff brush.
In spring and at the end of summer, clean your garden furniture thoroughly and allow it to dry. Once the wood is completely dry, apply a thin coat of oil. Be sure it will not rain during the 24 hours following oil application.
If your eucalyptus garden furniture has been heavily exposed to rain, the surface fibres may have swollen and the surface may feel rougher to the touch. To remedy this, lightly sand with fine-grain sandpaper until a smooth appearance is restored. Once sanding is complete, apply a coat of oil to restore the garden furniture's original colour.
The coat of oil protects garden furniture from stains and helps it withstand pollution, weather and mould. If you choose to let your eucalyptus furniture age without applying oil twice a year, it will take on a lovely silver colour. However, it will no longer be protected.
Precautions
It is important to store your eucalyptus garden furniture for winter. Bring it indoors, away from moisture, in a cool and well-ventilated place. If you protect it with a cover, favour polyester covers over PVC ones.
Do not place your garden furniture in contact with direct or intense heat.
Do not leave a damp sponge on the table top for too long, as this would make it rough to the touch.
