Maintenance tips

Before first use, wipe the wood with a cloth to remove any oil residue. Daily, clear the surface of leaves, stagnant water, and dust. Clean stains with soapy water and a sponge. For stubborn dirt, a small hard brush is sufficient.

Twice a year, in spring and autumn, perform a complete cleaning. Once the wood is thoroughly dry, apply a thin layer of oil, ensuring dry weather for the following 24 hours. If the wood swells slightly after prolonged exposure to rain, gentle sanding with fine sandpaper will restore its smoothness. Without regular maintenance, your furniture will develop a characteristic silvery patina, but will lose its protection.
