Made from Eucalyptus wood, the Almeria garden table displays an authentic and highly attractive look. It integrates elegantly into any terrace, adding an undeniable natural touch. This rectangular table features a butterfly extension of 60 cm, easily extending from 1.2 m to 1.8 m. Once extended, it accommodates a parasol with a maximum diameter of 50 mm in its center.

The Eucalyptus used for the Almeria table is a hard exotic wood from responsibly managed Brazilian plantations. Durable and resistant, it is perfectly suited for outdoor use. The wood is also treated with a tinted oil that provides additional protection while giving it a shade close to raw eucalyptus. The Almeria garden table thus combines robustness and aesthetics.

Maintenance

This garden table is covered with a tinted oil during manufacturing. The impregnation varies according to wood species and a slight residue may persist. Remember to remove it with a cloth before first use. No additional treatment is necessary at purchase: you can wait until the end of summer to maintain your furniture.

Eucalyptus being a living material, its appearance naturally evolves over time and some cracks may appear. This phenomenon, quite normal, contributes to the authentic charm of hardwood. Although robust and resistant to bad weather, Eucalyptus requires regular maintenance to preserve its longevity.

Daily, remove leaves, stagnant water and dust. Clean stains and food residues with soapy water and a sponge. In case of heavy soiling, a small hard brush will do the job.

In spring and at the end of summer, carry out a complete cleaning of your furniture and let it dry. Once the woodwork is perfectly dry, apply a thin layer of oil. Make sure no rain is forecast within 24 hours of application.

If your garden lounge has been heavily exposed to showers, the surface fibers may swell and make the touch rougher. In this case, sand lightly with fine sandpaper until you regain a smooth appearance, then apply a coat of oil to restore the original color.

The oil layer protects the furniture from stains, pollution, bad weather and mold. If you choose to let your furniture age without oil application twice a year, it will develop a beautiful silver patina. Warning: it will then no longer be protected.

Precautions

It is recommended to winter your eucalyptus garden furniture. Store it away from humidity, in a cool and airy place. If you use a cover, prefer polyester to PVC.

Avoid contact with a direct or too intense heat source.

Do not leave a damp sponge too long on the tabletop, as this could make the wood rough to the touch.
