Textilene is an ideal material for outdoor use. This resistant fabric withstands bad weather and molds to the shape of the body while allowing the skin to breathe, even in high heat.

Daily maintenance

Regularly remove leaves, stagnant water and dust. For stains, use a sponge and soapy water. In case of heavy soiling, a small hard brush will do the trick.

Seasonal maintenance

In spring and at the end of summer, clean your furniture thoroughly and let it dry completely. Then apply a thin layer of oil, making sure it will not rain in the following 24 hours.

If the superficial fibers have swollen after significant exposure to showers, lightly sand with fine sandpaper until a smooth appearance is restored. Finish with a coat of oil to restore the original color.

Natural aging

As eucalyptus is a living material, its appearance evolves over time and some cracks may appear. This is normal and contributes to the authentic charm of the wood. Without regular maintenance, the wood will take on a silvery gray tint, but will then lose its protection against external aggressions.
